Best deal is on the Pearson website for about $70. The Library has a limited number of hardcopies of the Thomas text on reserve. You don't need the hardcopy.

9) Course description: Continuation of MAC 2311. Topics include integration by substitution, inverse functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, inverse trig functions, solids and surfaces of revolution, arc length, techniques of integration, parametric curves and polar coordinates, power series, Taylor's theorem. Emphasis on conceptual understanding and modeling of physical phenomena.

13) All homework will be done via MyMathLab (MML) with submissions due per the MML schedule. Homework assignments cannot be extended past April 29. You will have the entire semester to work on all homework assignments prior to April 29. All exams will have an in class component worth 50 points and a take home component worth 50 points. We will have an exam after each chapter. Homework is worth 100 points total. Grade is determined by the ratio of points achieved to points possible.
14) We will not be using Canvas for any purpose other than the initial Financial Aid Attendance verification. The course page in Canvas will be inactive..no assignments, grades, announcements, or communications. The entire course will be run thru the website www.thomasbeatty.com and the MyMathLab (Pearson) website.
